🇸🇪 A few days ago the Swedish government launched a bid to close the country’s third largest airport, Bromma Airport in Stockholm. The various reactions to the news is a reminder that what sounds like a good thing in our ears - fewer domestic flights in a country where alternatives are readily accessible in most areas - is described as something catastrophical by others:

🇫🇷 Last week French lawmakers moved towards a ban of domestic flights under 2.5 hours. Bigger measures are certainly needed yet this is a powerful step in the right direction, and an important message that short haul flights should - and could - move towards being a thing of the past:
